HACHIKO!

Story of Hachiko
Hachiko was an Akita dog borned in the city of Odate, Akita, Japan. In 1924 Hachi was taken... to Tokyo by his owner the professor Eisaburo Ueno. The trip was really long and by the time they got there, everyone thought the doggy was dead. But when they got to their house the professor gave him milk and the doggy woke up. He named him Hachiko because his front legs looked like the kanji Hachi. At first this dog was for his daughter, but she got pregnant and married, and left the house. They decided to give up the dog but the professor got really close to him and stayed there.
The reason of what im writtin here about this is because of the LOYALTY of this amazing dog. Every day Hachi walked with the professor to the Shibuya station and then came back to pick him up. Every single day of his life. Even after the professor passed away, Hachi kept going there every day waitin for his master to come back til he passed away in August of 1935 outside the train station.
A statue was made for him on Shibuya station while Hachi was still alive. And it remains there till now.

There are two movies of this wonderful story:
Photobucket
The japanese one: that is more like the original story. It was made in 1987 and its really beautiful. You know how japanese movies are XD! They made it look like from 1920s so the way they interact with each other and how they dont express they feelings much...i guess its cause of the year. But anyway i loved it, and yes i cried. If you want to watch it you have to be prepared to cry your eyes out.

And there“s the new one, made in United States, starring Richard Gere: this story is different, from how he meets the dog, and the story of the daughter and other stuff. But the main theme, Hachiko, is the same, how he waits for him even after dying, its the same story. This one specially is a lil more dramatic, and its focused more on the dog, on the point of view of the dog.And yes i cried on this one too...couldnt help it, its a beautiful story.

So there you go! I personally love this story of Hachiko, i fell in love with it! And the movies...i loved both cause theyre different. But well you can choose which ever you want XD!
Thats it! im out of here! i need to finish some stuff and start on THE ARASHI VIDEOS RANKING!!!

bye bye!!
